Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospitalis a grade II provincial hospital with 450 beds; operating under the autonomous mechanism of group II of Decree 85/2012/ND-CP.
Over time,Hospitalhas developed facilities, synchronized medical equipment suitable for practical needs of operation, focused on comprehensive cooperation with leading institutes and hospitals of Traditional Medicine to transfer many techniques, especially superior new techniques of traditional medicine and modern medicine, the Hospital is evaluated as a medical facility with increasingly improved quality of medical examination and treatment, creating trust for people in the province and outside the province.

Pursuant to Decree 111/2017/ND-CP dated October 5, 2017 of the Government on regulations on organizing practice in training in the health sector; based on Plan 591/KH-HVYDHCTVN of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine on the Board of Directors of the Academy working with Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital, accordingly, the Academy has decided to recognize 27 doctors of Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital as guest lecturers. And the Hospital will become a practice facility for students of the Academy...
This is a major policy in the orientation and strategy for training high-quality human resources in the field of traditional medicine to meet the requirements of socio-economic development and health care for the people of the province.
