Presenting 1,500 gifts to students, workers and people in quarantine

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union and the Nghe An Provincial Student Association presented 1,500 gifts to Laotian students, young people, workers returning from Bac Giang to Nghe An, and families of policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances who are quarantined in localities.

On June 30, continuing to respond to the "Million Meals" Program organized by the Central Youth Union in coordination with accompanying units, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union and the Nghe An Provincial Student Association presented 1,500 gifts of necessities to Laotian students, young people, workers from Bac Giang returning to Nghe An and families of policy beneficiaries, and people in difficult circumstances who are quarantined in localities. In Quy Hop district, the number of workers registered to return to their localities is 260. Of these, up to now, 143 workers have returned and are quarantined at home. After conducting Covid-19 tests for this force, all samples were negative for the first time. For Tan Ky district, the number of workers registered to return to their localities was 184. Currently, the number of returning workers has reached 98. To support this force, the program has presented 100 gifts to representatives of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at the People's Committees of communes where workers have returned in the district. In the whole province, Nghe An currently has more than 1,000 workers returning from Bac Giang to Nghe An and are being quarantined in localities. Grasping that situation, in addition to Tan Ky and Quy Hop districts, the program also presented gifts in Con Cuong, Nghia Dan, Quynh Luu districts and Vinh city with a total of 1,000 gifts.
