Donating funds to build boarding houses for students of Nam Nhoong Primary and Secondary School
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 17, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to present funds to support the construction of boarding houses for students of Nam Nhoong Primary and Secondary School, Que Phong District.
Nam Nhoong Primary and Secondary School is located in a mountainous, highland, border commune, one of the particularly difficult communes according to Decision 861/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. The school has 1 main campus and 4 satellite campuses, with 438 students in 21 classes in the 2023-2024 school year. Students in the school are mainly children of poor households, families with preferential policies, and those in especially difficult circumstances.

Due to difficulties in investment and social mobilization, the current facilities and equipment for daily teaching activities for teachers and students are still lacking, not meeting the minimum requirements for school activities.
The school does not have functional classrooms, and the boarding area only meets less than half of the needs. The rest of the children are living in temporary rooms or in dilapidated rooms and offices in the kindergarten area.

With the spirit of mutual love and support, the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves, recently the Department of Education and Training, the Nghe An Education Trade Union has called on and mobilized more than 300 English centers and life skills centers in the province to support the amount of 1.7 billion VND. This amount will be supported to help build the project.boarding housefor students of Nam Nhoong Primary and Secondary School.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Khoa expressed his gratitude to the centers in the area for joining hands and contributing to the industry to support the boarding project for Nam Nhoong Primary and Secondary School. This is a meaningful gift, helping students at the school soon have favorable conditions to study and live, and parents feel secure when sending their children to the school.

After the ceremony, the Department's leaders also hoped that the school and local authorities would use the support resources effectively and soon complete the construction documents for the boarding house area to put into use in the 2023-2024 school year.
