Donating breeding pigs to the poor in Nam Can commune (Ky Son)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2, Nam Can Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard presented 5 pairs of breeding pigs to 5 Mong households in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district.
This is the number of breeding pigs directly selected and raised by Nam Can Border Guard Station right at the unit according to Project 3303/QD-UB, dated July 15, 2015 of the Provincial People's Committee on building a local sow breeding facility to provide breeding pigs for people in the western border area of Nghe An province in the period of 2015 - 2018.

The households receiving piglets this time are those in difficult circumstances and with the will to overcome hunger and reduce poverty, selected from 5 villages of Nam Can commune including Nam Khien, Son Thanh, Lien Son, Tham Hin and Huoi Nhao.
Along with donating piglets, Nam Can Border Guard Station also provided guidance on raising techniques and veterinary care for the pigs to help them grow. This gift not only has material significance, but is also a great spiritual resource to help the people here determined to rise up and escape poverty./.
