(Baonghean.vn) - Every night, these people steal 10 to 15 dogs, illegally earning 5-10 million VND. They also use cars and carry electric shockers to steal dogs. If chased, they will use petrol bombs and weapons to fight back.
On the afternoon of January 7, Nghe An Provincial Police and Thai Hoa Town People's Committee organized an award ceremony for Thai Hoa Town Police for their outstanding achievements in successfully solving Project 019T.
Accordingly, at 3:20 a.m. on January 5, 2019, Task Force 019T, Thai Hoa Town Police decided to crack the case. The working groups simultaneously controlled and caught 3 subjects in the act of buying and selling dogs, including: Nguyen Thi Trinh (born in 1972), residing in Hamlet 7A, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town; Pham Van Quang (born in 1990), residing in Hamlet 8, Quynh My Commune, Quynh Luu District and Tran Phuong (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Hung Commune, Dien Chau District.

During the arrest, the police seized many tools and means of committing the crime, including: 01 Fortuner car, license plate 37A-221.82, 06 motorbikes, 32 dogs (alive), 04 electric shock devices, 03 petrol bombs, 01 sword.
According to the suspects' statements, every night they organized the theft of 10 to 15 dogs in the districts of Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Quy Hop, Thai Hoa town and gathered them at the house of Nguyen Thi Trinh. From here, Trinh would call traders to come and buy the dogs for sale.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department commended and congratulated the achievements of Task Force 019T in solving the case. At the same time, he hoped that the Town Police would continue to promote their achievements, fight against all types of crimes, and contribute to stabilizing security and order, especially before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2019.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police decided to award the 019T Project Team 10 million VND. Also at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Thai Hoa Town People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit and a bonus of 5 million VND to the Project Team.
