500 criminal, mobile and economic police have just surrounded and caught dozens of people mixing fake gasoline, confiscating more than 100 billion VND and many other exhibits.

When surrounded, the suspects fought back fiercely, driving a large boat into a police canoe to clear a way to escape from a floating dock in the middle of the river, My Hoa commune, Binh Minh district, on February 6. However, all were controlled.
Before that, at the same time, 13 other reconnaissance teams simultaneously raided gas stations in Dong Nai, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Long An, Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City... to search and arrest those involved.

On February 9, Dong Nai police prosecuted 26 people for smuggling; manufacturing and trading counterfeit goods; and illegally trading invoices and documents for payment to the State budget. Among them, Nguyen Huu Tu (56 years old, from Vinh Long) was identified as the ringleader.
This line uses large tonnage ships to directly import gasoline from buoy number 0. After bringing it to Vinh Long, they use chemicals and solvents to produce A95 gasoline. The "goods" are divided among small tonnage ships and barges to transport to warehouses along stations on many large rivers. From there, tankers will transport it to distribute to gas stations in the system of those in the line, selling to consumers.
According to the investigation agency, about 1 million liters of fake gasoline are brought to the market every day from the "mixing furnace" in the middle of the Hau River.

To avoid detection, this group uses gangsters to control strangers entering and leaving the area, and uses speedboats to regularly guard the riverbed within a 2.5 km radius...

"This line operates closely, assigning specific tasks from pumping, mixing, legalizing documents, transporting... so it is very difficult to detect," said a member of the investigation committee.
The case is under further investigation.
