Dismantling a drug ring led by Laotians, seizing 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth
(Baonghean.vn) - An illegal drug trafficking ring with a huge quantity of foreign leaders has just been dismantled by Nghe An Police, seizing 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth.
At around 3:00 a.m. on December 23, in the border area of Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Nghe An Police in coordination with Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station and Nghe An Border Guard Command arrested two subjects, Da Xia Tu Vang (born in 1996) and Vu Xong (born in 1999), both residing in Muong Kham Cot, Bolikhamxay province, Laos.
At the scene, 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth were seized. It is known that these are the two ringleaders of this ring.

During the expanded investigation, the Task Force arrested three more suspects, Chia Do (born in 1964), Xom Chay (born in 1993) and Di Va (born in 1997), all residing in Bolikhamxay province, Laos. These three suspects were involved in the drug trafficking ring and received money for illegal drug trafficking.
Previously, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Nghe An Police discovered a drug ring with a large quantity from Laos to Vietnam led by Laotians. A special project was established to combat it.

Identifying these subjects as extremely powerful and armed, the Task Force held meetings and made plans, proposing timely and thorough combat measures. At the same time, synchronously implemented professional measures to monitor and grasp all movements of the subjects.
