Dismantling illegal fireworks trading and transportation ring

During the period from mid-December 2020 to early January 2021, through professional measures and information from the masses, Yen Thanh District Police discovered a trafficking ring,artillery transportfrom the northern provinces to consume in Yen Thanh, Dien Chau districts and some neighboring districts led by Nguyen Hong Luc (born: 1982), residing in hamlet 1, Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district.

Through investigation and verification of information, Yen Thanh District Police established a special project codenamed "121P", mobilizing investigators and detectives to organize the fight and destroy. At 1:00 p.m. on January 13, 2020, Nguyen Van Duong (born in 1998), residing in Tan Loc hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, was caught red-handed transporting and illegally trading fireworks, seizing 10 cakes.firework36 fruits of all kinds, weight 12 kg.

Subject Nguyen Van Duong confessed to buying fireworks from Truong Van Phuc (born in 1990), residing in Hamlet 2, Dien Lam Commune, Dien Chau District. The district police ordered a search of Truong Van Phuc's residence, confiscating 26 fireworks of 36 pieces, weighing 31.2 kg. Continuing to fight Truong Van Phuc, the subject confessed that since November 2020, he has bought fireworks from Nguyen Hong Luc many times to divide and sell for profit. The district police ordered a search of Nguyen Hong Luc's residence, confiscating 82 fireworks, 20 strings of firecrackers, weighing 115 kg. Thereby, the district police seized 158.2 kg of various types of fireworks, 04 mobile phones.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department is detaining the suspects to continue investigating and expanding the case./.
