Summoning a group of students to race, filming a clip and posting it on social media to 'recruit members'

On October 16, Tan Ky District Policeconvene20 students in the area have been gathering, driving motorbikes, weaving and swerving in the area recently.

Previously, along the Ho Chi Minh trail through Tan Lac town (Tan Ky), a group of about 20 "speed demons" appeared.

This group often gathers to race cars,zigzag, “wheelies”, letting go of both hands while driving a motorbike. These teenagers even filmed clips and posted them on social media to “recruit members”.

The appearance of this group of "speed demons" terrifies passersby, affecting security, order, and safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

Through verification, Tan Ky District Police discovered and summoned 20 students from several high schools in the district to clarify the violations.

At the police station, the "speed demons" said that because of their desire to show off and their "passion for speed", they organized the races.

After working with the police, the subjects realized their violations and signed a commitment not to re-offend.

Tan Ky District Police also invited representatives of schools and parents of the group of young offenders to work together to manage and educate the children.

The police have drawn up a record of administrative violations, temporarily detained the violating vehicle and continued to consolidate the records for handling according to the provisions of law.
