Two uncles and nephews in Nghe An were prosecuted for theft of property.
(Baonghean.vn) - Armed with a sharp knife to cut the B40 mesh fence into a grocery store to steal property and spend money, two nephews, Thuy and Lu, are both in trouble with the law.
On April 1, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police issued a decision to prosecute Kha Ngoc Thuy, born in 1998, residing in Xop Tu village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district, and Mac Van Lu, born in 1992, residing in Cha Luon village, Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district for the crime of "Theft of property" as prescribed in Article 173 of the Penal Code.

Accordingly, at around 1:00 a.m. on March 15, 2020, Kha Ngoc Thuy discussed with his uncle Mac Van Lu about going to the grocery store of Ms. Lo Thi Xai, born in 1994, residing in Xop Tu village, My Ly commune, Ky Son to steal property, and Lu agreed. The two subjects had prepared a sharp knife to carry out the theft.
When arriving at Ms. Xai's shop, observing that the owner was asleep, Thuy used a sharp knife to cut the B40 mesh fence to get inside, while Lu stood outside to keep watch. Once inside the shop, Thuy stole the property including 2 Samsung Galaxy brand mobile phones, 300,000 VND in cash and 1 pack of Thang Long cigarettes.
After stealing the above assets, Thuy and Lu sold them and spent all the money together.
The case is currently under investigation.
