China accuses NATO of seeking to undermine peace in Asia
(Baonghean.vn) - Chinese Ambassador to Russia Truong Han Huy has accused the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) of seeking to undermine peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.

In an interview, Mr. Truong Han Huy argued: “NATO has deviated from the goals of the United Nations Charter, which establishes the goal of developing friendly relations between countries and protecting common peace. Despite peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, NATO insists on conducting military exercises and staging so-called freedom of navigation operations in the region, thereby causing tension and confrontation between parties.”
In addition, Mr. Truong Han Huy also criticized NATO as the main cause of aggravating the Ukraine crisis. He emphasized: "For more than 30 years, NATO has caused tension everywhere, disrupted stability and encouraged separatism, like in Kosovo, Libya and Afghanistan. The eastward expansion has seriously affected the order and security in post-Cold War Europe and is the main cause of aggravating the Ukraine crisis."
