Central Committee listens to key personnel plans

On October 8, the fourth working day of the 12th Central Conference (11th tenure), the Central Committee listened to the Politburo's report on key personnel plans for the 12th tenure.

At the morning working session in the Hall, Comrade To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, read the Politburo's Report on the situation and results of the introduction of personnel for the 12th Central Executive Committee; the Politburo's Report on the preparation of personnel for the Politburo, the Secretariat and key positions from the 6th Congress to before the 12th Congress; proposed a number of issues in the preparation of personnel for the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and key positions for the 12th tenure from now until the 14th Central Conference of the 11th tenure. After that, the Central Committee studied documents and discussed in groups on personnel work for the 12th Central Executive Committee.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Central Committee worked in groups, continuing to discuss personnel work for the 12th Central Executive Committee.

Earlier, speaking at the opening session of the Conference, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong assessed that the organization of the vote to introduce personnel for the Central Executive Committee in rounds 1 and 2 had been seriously implemented by Party committees and organizations at all levels, basically ensuring the progress, procedures, and instructions of the Personnel Subcommittee; the working groups tasked with monitoring and witnessing the vote of confidence had carried out their tasks seriously and with high responsibility.
