Traffic police lieutenant hospitalized after car crash on Thanh Tri bridge

While on duty at Thanh Tri Bridge (Hanoi), a traffic police lieutenant collided with a motorbike and fell onto the road. The victim was quickly taken to Bach Mai Hospital for emergency treatment.

On the afternoon of August 20, while on duty at Thanh Tri Bridge in Hoang Mai District, an officer of Traffic Police Team No. 14 of the Hanoi Police was hit and injured by a motorbike. An officer of the Traffic Police Department of the Hanoi Police said the victim was Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tuan (26 years old).

Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tuan was examined after the collision.

Accordingly, while patrolling and regulating traffic on the road leading to Thanh Tri Bridge, Lieutenant Tuan collided with a motorbike. After the collision, the person on duty fell onto the road, injuring his head and arm.

When the incident occurred, the authorities took the injured soldier to Bach Mai Hospital for emergency treatment.

Major Vu Van Hoai, Head of the Propaganda Team of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, said the injured soldier is undergoing a health check. Hoang Mai District Police have launched an investigation into the collision.

The commander of the Hoang Mai District Police Accident Handling Team said that after the collision that injured the traffic police lieutenant, the motorbike driver drove away. Authorities are verifying information about this person to track him down.
