(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 15, comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the Great Unity Festival and received the title of Cultural Village in 2016 at Cau Bung village, Dien Ky commune (Dien Chau).

Cau Bung village is the center of economic, cultural and social exchange of Dien Ky commune and the northern region of Dien Chau district. The whole village has 400 households with about 1,700 people and is one of the villages with the highest economic life in the commune. The whole village has a total income of nearly 60 billion VND/year; 95% of households have a stable life, the rate of well-off households is over 50%.

Along with that, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is taken care of. The village has full cultural, informational and sports facilities, the rate of cultural households, studious families and sports families is over 85%. The people in the village are united, close-knit, and comply well with the policies of the Party and the laws of the State.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ho Phuc Hop highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the people of Cau Bung village in recent times. At the same time, he hoped that the people would continue to promote the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water, the spirit of mutual love, creating conditions to help families with preferential policies, families facing many difficulties and hardships, and single people.
