The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency has just concluded after a long investigation into exam cheating in the 2018 National High School Exam in Hoa Binh.
Responding to VTV, Mr. Bui Minh Giam - Director of the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security, said that he will review candidates who registered to take the exam and were admitted to the People's Police schools in 2018.
If the results of the Ministry of Education and Training's assessment match, the People's Police schools will strictly follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security. Specifically, the exam papers of the cheating candidates will be canceled. These candidates are not qualified to study at the People's Police schools.

Also on March 11, the Ministry of Education and Training said it had sent an official dispatch to the Department of Schools, the Ministry of National Defense, the Department of Training of the Ministry of Public Security and universities and colleges to proactively contact the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh to update the results of the assessment of candidates related to exam cheating.
The document clearly stated that the Ministry of Education and Training had sent the investigation results and requested the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh to update the exam scores on the management software system based on the attached statistical list, review the graduation recognition results to report back to the Ministry of Education and Training and inform candidates before March 20.
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training must be responsible for notifying the results to the Department of Schools, Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security and universities, academies, and colleges with teacher training majors (collectively referred to as schools) to update and review university and college admission results with relevant candidates.
