Vinh University of Industry opens new school year
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 19, Vinh University of Industry held the Opening Ceremony of the 2018-2019 school year and the 36th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2018). Representatives from the Department of Education and Training, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Science and Technology and a number of related departments, agencies and sectors attended.

The 2018-2019 school year is the 5th year that Vinh University of Industry has been in operation. In recent years, although newly established, in the context of approaching and adapting to the 4.0 revolution, Vinh University of Industry has had many solutions in teaching innovation.
At the same time, develop and improve the quality of the teaching staff, focus on fostering knowledge and professional skills for students, meeting output standards. The school has also expanded cooperation and association with many domestic and foreign companies and enterprises to expand activities in the fields of training, job support, labor supply and management.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tran Manh Ha - Acting Principal outlined 4 important tasks of the school in this school year. In particular, it will internationalize and integrate more strongly in training professions and training methods; strongly strengthen human resources and facilities; perfect the professions towards a multidisciplinary and multi-field university; prepare well for the assessment and evaluation of quality and progress.

The school principal also hopes that the school's students will be diligent, hard-working, and focus on practicing professional skills and soft skills to achieve high academic achievements and soon become capable new engineers and new bachelors in the future.

On this occasion, the school also awarded certificates of merit and many scholarships to Lao and Vietnamese students with excellent academic achievements and students who were valedictorians and achieved high entrance scores to the school.
