Vinh University completes payment of 2023 living expenses for pedagogical students
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 25, 2020, the Government issued Decree No. 116 regulating the policy of supporting tuition fees and living expenses for pedagogical students. Vinh University is one of the units receiving budget support from the State through the Ministry of Education and Training to implement this policy.
Accordingly, from 2021 to present, students studying pedagogy at Vinh University will be supported with tuition and living expenses with a total budget of nearly 400 billion VND.
In addition to enjoying policies under Decree No. 116, pedagogical students also enjoy preferential subsidy policies, social subsidies, scholarships to encourage learning, and student credits according to regulations.

In 2023, Vinh University was allocated a budget of VND 156,190,000,000 by the Ministry of Education and Training, including: Tuition subsidy: VND 31,887,910,000; Living expenses for students studying pedagogy: VND 124,302,090,000.
On January 16, 2024, the school made a payment of living expenses transferred to the student's personal account with a total amount of 124,302,090,000 VND. Students will receive according to the number of months x 3,630,000 VND/month (according to the number of months of study).

Thus, up to now, Vinh University has completed paying living expenses for pedagogical students according to Decree No. 116/2020/ND-CP.
The timely payment of living expenses for the school's pedagogical students has created a joyful and exciting atmosphere before the Spring of Giap Thin.

In 2024, Vinh University plans to enroll 19 pedagogical majors with 1,500 students. The total number of pedagogical students in the university is 6,412. The estimated cost of tuition and living expenses for pedagogical students in 2024 is 254.58 billion VND.
Candidates applying for pedagogical majors have 5 admission methods:
1. Admission method 1(301):Direct admission of candidates who are eligible for direct admission as prescribed in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 8 of the Law.Regulations on university and college admissions for Early Childhood Education in 2022of the Ministry of Education and Training.
2. Admission method 2(303):Direct admission for candidates who are students participating in excellent student teams; students from specialized high schools; students with international English and international IT certificates.
3. Admission method 3 (100):Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2024.
4. Admission method 5(402):Admission based on the results of the Hanoi National University of Education's Competency Assessment Exam (expected).
5. Admission method 6 (405/406) admission3 industries:Organize aptitude tests and consider combined results of the 2024 high school graduation exam or 2024 high school transcripts for the majors of Preschool Education and Physical Education.
