In case the traffic police do not salute according to regulations
According to the new draft, when stopping a vehicle for inspection, traffic police will have to salute according to regulations, except in some cases.

The Ministry of Public Security is drafting a Circular regulating the process of patrolling, controlling, and handling administrative violations of road traffic order and safety.
Article 14 of the draft stipulates the implementation of control as follows: when the vehicle to be controlled has stopped at the position as instructed, the traffic police officer assigned to control duty shall stand at a suitable and safe position and perform the following:
Vehicle drivers are requested to take safety measures and get off the vehicle.
Salute according to the People's Public Security regulations.
However, traffic police will not salute in the following cases: knowing in advance that the person is committing an act that shows signs of a crime, committing a crime in flagrante delicto, or being wanted.
The draft also requires that when coming into contact with people who have violated the law, traffic police officers must maintain the correct posture, manners, and behavior, and have the right attitude.
After performing the above steps, the traffic police shall notify the vehicle driver and the people on the vehicle of the reason for the inspection; request the vehicle driver to present the relevant documents as prescribed for inspection as follows:
In case the vehicle driver or vehicle owner presents information of documents that have been integrated and updated in the electronic identification account on the National Identification Application and in the database managed by the Ministry of Public Security, the inspection and control shall be carried out through the information in the electronic identification account on the National Identification Application and the database.
In case the vehicle driver or vehicle owner presents paper copies of documents, those documents will be checked and directly compared and information related to those documents will be looked up in the administrative violation handling database system and other databases.
Conduct control of the contents as prescribed in Article 8 of this Circular; for vehicles carrying 10 or more people, vehicles carrying people with dimensions equivalent to vehicles carrying 10 or more people, must directly go to the passenger compartment to conduct control and notify the control results.
At the end of the inspection, the Traffic Police officer reports to the Team Leader about the inspection results, notifies the vehicle driver and people on the vehicle of the inspection results, violations (if any) and handling measures.
When there is reason to believe that a traffic participant, means of transport, or object contains evidence, means, or documents used to commit an administrative violation, the person, means of transport, or object may be searched in accordance with the provisions of the law on handling administrative violations. In case of detecting signs of a crime, the provisions of the law on criminal procedure shall apply.
