Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted recruits additional 10th grade students for the 2018-2019 school year

However, up to this point, some targets are not enough, mainly because students who are admitted but live far away do not enroll. According to the plan of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted: This additional recruitment round has 9 quotas. Candidates are students studying in grade 10 of high school in the province (including students of Vinh University High School for the Gifted).

However, candidates must have good results in the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, good conduct, excellent academic performance, an average score of 9 points or higher for subjects applying to specialized classes in Mathematics, Information Technology, Chemistry, Biology, and English, and an average score of 8 points or higher for subjects applying to specialized classes in Literature and History.

Candidates for the Math and IT specialized classes will take the Math test, for the Chemistry specialized class will take the Chemistry test, for the Biology specialized class will take the Biology test, for the Literature specialized class will take the Literature test, for the History specialized class will take the History test, and for the English specialized class will take the English test. The time for the specialized class exam is 150 minutes.

Previously, in this year's exam,There are nearly 1,400 applications for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. Of which, the English class has the largest number of applications with 256 applications.

In addition, there were 191 applications for the Literature specialized class, 182 applications for the Math specialized class, 177 applications for the Chemistry specialized class, 144 applications for the Physics specialized class, 145 applications for the Biology specialized class, 81 applications for the Information Technology specialized class, and 80 applications for the Russian specialized class. The number of applications for each class for the French, History, and Geography specialized classes ranged from about 30 to 50 applications.
