Communication on reproductive health care for women

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 13, the Center for Population/Family Planning of Tuong Duong district and Hoang Mai town launched a communication campaign integrating the provision of reproductive health care/family planning services and communication to reduce gender imbalance at birth for women.

In Tuong Duong:

The campaign received enthusiastic support from the Steering Committee for Population/Family Planning and the People's Committee of Luu Kien, along with the response of more than 200 women aged 15-49 from 6 villages of Luu Kien commune.

Hoang Mai Town:

The Provincial Department of Population/Planning for Education and the Center for Population/Planning for Education of Hoang Mai Town coordinated with Bac Quynh Luu High School to organize a communication program on reproductive health care for adolescents and young people for the school's students.

At the ceremony, students were provided with information, knowledge, and basic concepts of reproductive health care such as adolescent psychological development; gender and sex; safe and healthy sex; unwanted pregnancy; consequences of teenage abortion; sexually transmitted diseases, especially HIV/AIDS infection.
