Tuan Vu, singer from Nghe An with the live show "10 years reunion"

At the press conference before the show in Hanoi, famous singer Tuan Vu shared: It's been nearly 10 years since I've been back to Hanoi. I don't know what else to say, I just hope to have the opportunity to return many more times in the future.

The male singer also confided that he came to the singing profession not for fame or fortune, not for money, just to sing and have people love his voice, that is the greatest happiness and also the most precious gift in life.

He confided: "Who doesn't like money, but I consider it ephemeral, meaning that no matter how much money I have now, when I die I can't take it with me. Feelings are what are valuable, worth cherishing, because they lie deep in my heart, in my mind. When I'm gone, thanks to them I can imagine all the people I love in my heart and thank them very much." He also smiled and humorously explained: "I'm not a rich man, I'm very poor."

According to Tuan Vu, the upcoming live show will have many special performances that he and his colleagues will present to fans. He shared: "In the program, I will perform old songs that are associated with my name. However, the performance style as well as the arrangement will be renewed so that the audience will not feel old. And there are songs that I used to sing solo, maybe in the 10-year reunion live show, I will sing a duet."

In particular, in this live show, he and the "king" of yellow music Che Linh will sing a duet together on stage for the first time with the familiar song "Thoi doi" - a song by musician Truc Phuong.

When asked if famous singer Che Linh was jealous when his successful song was "surpassed" by Tuan Vu after being recorded, "King of Golden Music" Che Linh confided: "I used to sing the song "Thoi doi" and many other artists also sang it. Tuan Vu once recorded this song and it sold very well. We are always close and consider each other as family members, without any restrictions. Sometimes Tuan Vu sings that song differently than Che Linh and the audience responds more, that is a very happy thing because in our family, whoever does what is called outstanding, we are happy for that person. As for jealousy, we never have it."

Also here, the male singer explained the reason why he called Che Linh his teacher because: "When we sang together, every time I sang a song, I asked 'Do you think I can sing this song well', he would show me this part like this, that part like that, I would listen and then practice, so I considered him as my master".

The live show “Tuan Vu - 10 years reunion” will take place for one night only on the evening of December 9 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi). Standing on the same stage with Tuan Vu this time are names that are considered to be the greats of the golden music genre such as: Che Linh, Giao Linh, Son Tuyen, Ngoc Son, Randy, My Huyen, Luu Chi Vy, Duong Hong Loan...
