Pouring gasoline on father-in-law's house at midnight, 2 people seriously burned
A man with abnormal behavior poured gasoline and set fire to his father-in-law's house at midnight, causing him and a small child to suffer severe burns and require emergency hospitalization.
On the morning of October 12, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Mai Ward (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi), said that a fire had just occurred in a level 4 house in lane 30 Hong Mai, causing 2 people to suffer severe burns.

According to Mr. Tuan, at around 1:30 a.m. on October 12, Mr. Hoang Tien Linh (30 years old) showed unusual behavior, poured gasoline all over his father-in-law's house, and then set it on fire. The incident caused Mr. Linh and a 6-year-old child to suffer severe burns and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the information, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene and promptly controlled the fire, so property damage was insignificant.
As of 9:00 a.m. the same day, the scene was still blocked off by authorities to serve the investigation.
