Tuong Duong pays for poor women to implement population policy well

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 14, the Tuong Duong District Population Center coordinated with the People's Committee of Tam Dinh Commune to organize the first payment for women from poor households who gave birth in accordance with the Population/Family Planning policy under Decree 39/2015/ND-CP of the Government.

Accordingly, 26 ethnic minority women, Kinh women whose husbands are ethnic minorities and are poor households, giving birth in accordance with the population policy in Tam Dinh commune, were supported with 2 million VND/person from the first month after giving birth. With a total cost of 52 million VND.

It is known that Tuong Duong district has 334 women from 17 communes receiving this support money. According to the plan, from now until September 30, 2017, the district will pay all the money to the beneficiaries./.
