- Wash the chili peppers and remove the stems. Soak them in a little diluted salt water, then drain them.
- Peel and wash the garlic, then chop it finely.
- Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds.
- Bring water to a boil, then add chili peppers and tomatoes and cook for about 3 minutes before turning off the heat. Drain the chili peppers in a colander.
- Put boiled chili peppers and tomatoes, garlic, salt, and a little water into a blender and blend until smooth. Then, strain the mixture to remove all the chili seeds, resulting in a thick paste. Pour this mixture into a saucepan, turn on the stove to low heat, add 6 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of vinegar, and stir constantly until the mixture thickens, then turn off the heat.
- Use a clean, dry glass jar and wait for the chili sauce to cool completely before pouring it into the jar. Store in the refrigerator for later use.
Since it contains no preservatives, you should only make a small batch at a time. Remember to wear gloves while making it to avoid burning your hands.
