The asphalt road surface has many cracks and sinkholes. According to some residents, the section passing through Don Phuc commune can be pryed up by hand. “We witnessed the contractor doing a very sloppy job, with a lot of gravel mixed with soil but still spreading asphalt, spreading thin stones, thin asphalt, and rolling carelessly, so many sections of dirt and rocks piled up into mounds like rows of potatoes. Many motorbikes traveling at night have had accidents when they hit these mounds of dirt,” said an indignant resident.
It is recommended that the authorities investigate the quality of the project, specifically investigate each bid package, construction supervision unit, investor and project acceptance unit, and then strictly handle related units and individuals with violations.
