Propaganda and promotion of Nghe An image on VTV

(Baonghean.vn)- Vietnam Television will actively support and proactively develop plans for propaganda programs about Nghe An province on VTV channels, affirmed comrade Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television.

On the afternoon of March 17, a working delegation of Vietnam Television led by comrade Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television had a working session with leaders of Nghe An province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee quickly announced the socio-economic development results of the province in 2016 and the first months of 2017, and the results of the 2016 cooperation program between Nghe An province and Vietnam Television.

In 2016, Nghe An province and Vietnam Television coordinated to carry out propaganda, promotion and introduction activities about the history - culture, potential, advantages of socio-economic development, national defense and security and Party and government building of Nghe An province on VTV channels.

Notably, the propaganda of important political events in Nghe An province such as: Election activities of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term; effective propaganda of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; Propaganda of Nghe An's history and culture; Results of implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks of developing Nghe An province until 2020; economic development activities, investment attraction;….

However, the delegates also stated that: Nghe An province and VTV have not yet implemented the plan to produce and broadcast a number of promotional clips about tourism, folk songs, and investment attraction of Nghe An, broadcast regularly on VTV channels as planned.

The coverage of VTV programs via satellite has been quite good. However, in some large provinces, 2/3 of the area is mountainous, the rate of poor and near-poor households is still high, and the number of ethnic minorities who cannot watch VTV programs is still quite large.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hoped that Vietnam Television would continue to actively coordinate in promoting local events and activities in various fields.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: In 2017, Nghe An province hopes that Vietnam Television will have a plan to promote major events such as: The 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to his hometown, the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the 150th birthday of patriot Phan Boi Chau, etc. Create clips to promote tourism and culture of Nghe An. VTV actively supports the province in promoting the handling of marine environmental incidents; first of all, the event to promote the Cua Lo tourist season.
