U22 Vietnam attends miniature World Cup in France
“Toulon Cup is a quality tournament for U22 Vietnam to prepare for SEA Games 31. We have discussed with Park Hang-seo and assistant Kim Han Yoon will be in charge of this team,” VFF Permanent Vice President Tran Quoc Tuan confirmed that VFF will sendVietnam U22 teamattend the Toulon Cup in France later this year.
Toulon, considered a miniature World Cup for youth national teams. In 2019, U21 Brazil was the champion after winning the penalty shootout against Japan. In its 48th edition, the 2020 Toulon Cup is scheduled to take place from December 23, 2020 to January 7, 2021 and will feature 12 teams, divided into 3 groups.

Currently, 10 teams have confirmed their participation, including Japan, Australia, Vietnam (Asia); Congo, Ivory Coast, Morocco (Africa); Mexico (America); England, France, Romania (Europe). If everything goes according to plan, U22 Vietnam will gather from early December and have 2 weeks of training in Hanoi. According to the plan, Coach Park Hang-seo and his team can leave for France on December 18 or 19.
New signing helps Chelsea win again
