On the morning of August 6, members of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission discussed, analyzed, clarified, concluded violations, and voted to propose disciplinary action against the Party and the Army.

On the morning of August 6, in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission, term 2015-2020, held its 13th session, chaired by General Luong Cuong - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission.

Attending the meeting were Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

At the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission reviewed and proposed disciplinary action against 10 party members and soldiers who violated Party discipline, military discipline and state laws.

With a high sense of responsibility, democracy, strictness, ensuring objectivity, principles and regulations, members of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission discussed, analyzed, clarified, concluded violations and voted to propose disciplinary action against the Party and the Army.

Specifically, Party discipline: Expelled: 5 party members; Military discipline: Stripped of military title: 7; demoted from military rank: 2; removed from all positions: 1.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior General Luong Cuong highly appreciated the preparation work of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission, which proactively inspected, monitored, and kept abreast of the situation, promptly proposed cases of disciplinary violations by cadres and officers, ensuring understanding and reason.

The process of reviewing and disciplining cadres and officers must strictly comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws, and the Ministry of National Defense's regulations, especially strictly following principles and regulations, reviewing and handling the right people and the right crimes, with no forbidden areas; handling to the point where it is clear.

General Luong Cuong suggested that in the coming time, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission continue to direct Inspection Commissions at all levels to strengthen inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement.

At the same time, proactively grasp the situation, detect and inspect Party members and lower-level Party organizations when there are signs of violations; promptly resolve and thoroughly handle petitions, denunciations and complaints, contributing to maintaining and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; strengthening solidarity and unity, and successfully completing political tasks.

Along with that, the Committee continues to strictly implement the inspection and supervision plan, focusing on inspecting and supervising the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) on strengthening Party building and rectification, preventing and repelling ideological, moral and lifestyle degradation, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party, and implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo and Directive 87 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
