The People's Committees of administrative units at district and commune levels have just directed and coordinated with the Police at all levels, the Department of Justice and relevant units to develop plans and organize the conversion of documents for people right in the locality, without collecting fees when issuing and exchanging documents.
According to the implementation planResolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing CommitteeRegarding the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province in the period of 2023 - 2025, the Provincial People's Committee has set the deadline for completing the announcement of the establishment of new district and commune-level administrative units before December 25, 2024.
The Provincial People's Committee requested that the arrangement of administrative units must maintain continuous, effective and efficient operation of the government apparatus in the political system in the district and commune-level administrative units subject to arrangement, without disrupting the lives and activities of the people and the production and business activities of units and enterprises in the area.
Carry out the work of handing over and receiving the original natural area, population size and all related records and documents of agencies and units in district and commune-level administrative units subject to the arrangement of new district and commune-level administrative units; ensuring compliance with legal regulations; strict, practical and effective.

For district level, Nghe An conductsenter the entire natural area and population size ofCua Lo town and 4 communes: Nghi Xuan, Phuc Tho, Nghi Thai, Nghi Phong(Nghi Loc district)into Vinh city.After the arrangement, Vinh city has a natural area of 166.22 km2and the population is 580,669 people.At the commune level, 92 units were reorganized (including 65/89 units subject to mandatory reorganization and 27 adjacent related units); 4 units were encouraged to be reorganized; 24/89 units were not reorganized due to special factors.. SAfter the reorganization, Nghe An reduced 1 district-level administrative unit, from 21 to 20 units, and reduced 48 commune-level administrative units, from 460 to 412 units..
