Ukraine wants to receive aid for HIMARS missiles with a range of 300 km
(Baonghean.vn) - In an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times, Ukrainian Defense Minister Aleksiy Reznikov expressed confidence that his country will receive many HIMARS systems from the US, including missiles with a range of 300 km.
Reznikov believes that more long-range systems will be supplied to Ukraine, especially the US HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. The US does not want to send HIMARS with a range of 80 km and GPS-guided munitions, fearing that such a move could escalate the war.

Earlier, the US delivered eight HIMARS mobile launchers on wheeled chassis to Ukraine. According to the plan, four such systems will be transferred to Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry said that so far at least two HIMARS systems have been destroyed by fire from the Russian Armed Forces.
