Provincial Fatherland Front Committee takes care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 10, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district and Nghia Xuan commune to organize a ceremony to receive and care for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Truong Thi Thiep.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Truong Thi Thiep (born in 1918) in Coc Chat hamlet, Nghia Xuan commune had two sons, Martyr Nguyen Van Mac and Martyr Nguyen Van Tuan, who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation. Mother Thiep was awarded the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” by the State in early 2015.

Comrade Nguyen Van Huy - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and encouraged Thiep's mother.

Since June 2016, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has taken care of Heroic Mother Truong Thi Thiep for life. In addition to monthly support of 1 million VND and her family to take care of Mother Thiep, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also assigned officials to visit and encourage her health when she was sick so that she could live happily and healthily until the end of her life.

Comrade Nguyen Van Huy gave money and warm blankets to the family of mother Truong Thi Thiep.

This is an activity to remember and honor the great contributions of heroic Vietnamese mothers who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.
