Posthumously awarded the State honorary title 'Heroic Vietnamese Mother'
On the afternoon of February 13, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a ceremony to posthumously award the honorary title of "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to mother Hoang Thi Con, in hamlet 4, Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu district.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, the leaders of Quynh Luu district awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to the relatives of mother Hoang Thi Con.

Mother Hoang Thi Con was born in 1904 and died in 1989 in Hamlet 4, Quynh Yen Commune. She had 2 sons (same mother but different father) and 3 daughters, of which 2 sons, Dang Van Ty and Nguyen Dang Ngoc, participated in the resistance war and heroically sacrificed their lives in the cause of defending the Fatherland.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Thuong emphasized: Currently, the entire Quynh Luu district has 280 mothers who have been awarded and posthumously awarded the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother". This is a noble award showing the gratitude of the Party, State and people for the great sacrifices and contributions of mothers to the cause of national liberation and reunification.
With deep responsibility and affection, the Party committees, authorities and people of the whole district have been making great efforts in implementing the movement "Repaying gratitude" such as: building gratitude houses; donating and giving savings books; mobilizing sponsorship for families with difficult policies... to improve the lives of the people.Heroic Vietnamese Mother, war invalids, martyrs' families and people with revolutionary contributions are increasingly complete and better.
The Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee also requested the Party Committee, government, political and social organizations, cadres, party members, and local people to continue implementing many solutions and specific, practical actions to better care for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people./.
