With a large area, sparse population, and difficult economic conditions; some villages and hamlets do not have paved roads, community cultural houses, national grid electricity, telephone signals, or Internet systems..., but with the attention of the Party, the State, Nghe An province and Que Phong district for the highland border communes, Tri Le has made positive developments.
The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, with an estimated average income of 21.3 million VND/person in 2023. The customs and cultural beauty of ethnic minorities are always preserved; bad customs are gradually pushed back and eliminated.

Education has gradually changed, people's awareness has been raised. The rate of children passing and attending universities, colleges, and vocational schools is increasing. Health care is always guaranteed, 100% of people have health insurance cards.
The ethnic communities in the area are united, attached, loving, and unanimous in carrying out movements, building many models of economic, cultural, social, and political development; ensuring national defense and security in many practical forms.
In particular, along with economic development, the Party Committee, government and people in the area have always done a good job of patrolling the border and landmarks; the models of "drug-free border communes" and "drug-free villages" have gradually become effective and have entered the hearts of the people.
With the spirit of mutual love and support, the commune has coordinated with all levels and sectors to propagate and mobilize people to complete 177 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in the area; including 138 prefabricated houses for families who are unable to build or repair their own houses. After 20 years of implementation, the National Great Unity Day has truly become a beauty, affirming the precious traditions and core values of the nation, the strategic policy of our Party. “Today, I listened to the speech of the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tri Le commune, showing the deep understanding of the Party's major policy and the very good organization and implementation. Tri Le is considered the farthest point in the Northwest region of Nghe An province, bordering Laos. The speech clearly showed the specific conditions of Tri Le, with the right way of doing things, realizing the great unity directions associated with livelihoods, creating a material and spiritual environment for people to enjoy the fruits of our cause" - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang noted.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics added that the Central Committee will soon issue a new Resolution on promoting national solidarity and completing the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era. Despite many difficulties, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his hope that the people of Tri Le commune will continue to promote the achievements they have made to do even better.
“The poverty rate is still too high, at 68.13%, and the near-poor rate is still over 18%. This is a huge challenge. I hope that the provincial and district leaders, who have paid much attention, will continue to pay more attention and give more close guidance so that the households that have escaped poverty become rich, and the poor households will gradually increase so that the poverty rate will decrease in the overall achievements of the province and the whole country. We also need to pay attention to multidimensional poverty reduction, not only reducing poverty in terms of income and living standards, but also paying attention to education, healthcare, access to information, etc. " - said comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang.

He hoped that local leaders would comprehensively strengthen solutions for socio-economic development; actively share good models and new ways of doing things; pioneering households would create conditions to support later households to move forward together. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to ensuring social security, hoping that in the area, social evils and negativity will be limited and gradually eliminated, backwardness will be eliminated, and a new lifestyle will be built.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also requested the locality to pay attention to landslides, flash floods, and landslides; to plant and protect forests to prevent natural disasters and ensure the safety of people's lives.
