Collision with truck, woman riding bicycle died on the spot
(Baonghean.vn) - At around 3:30 p.m. on May 7, on National Highway 1A, at Km 387+00 intersection with National Highway 48D, in Tan Son block, Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town, an accident occurred, killing one woman.
At that time, a woman was riding a bicycle in the North-South direction. When she arrived at the above location, she turned right in the direction of Hoang Mai to Thai Hoa town, and suddenly collided with a truck with license plate 37H-020.78 (driver's identity not yet determined) traveling in the same direction. The strong collision caused the truck to drag the woman riding the bicycle under the truck, killing her on the spot.
The victim was identified as Ms. Nguyen Thi H., over 40 years old, residing in Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town.
Upon receiving information about the incident, local authorities were present to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
