The incident happened on the afternoon of July 25 in Le village, Chau Hoi commune (Quy Chau). Ms. Lang Thi Lan (63 years old) said that on the morning of July 25, she let her cows out to graze, but in the afternoon, only 4 cows did not return to the barn. While she was searching, at around 4 pm, she heard a call from the villagers saying that "her cows had been seen" in the middle of Mr. Luong Van D's acacia garden (same village).

Mrs. Lan ran to Mr. D's acacia garden (about 300m from his house) and saw that her bull had been slashed on the right back, extending down to the belly, with all its intestines spilled out, lying in the middle of the acacia garden.

The cause was determined to be that the cows entered the acacia garden to graze, so the owner of the acacia garden slashed the cows to warn other farmers.

This cow has been raised by Mrs. Lan for more than 2 years, weighing about 150 kg. Mrs. Lan had to call her son to bring the car to take the cow home. The police also came to make a record.

Mr. Luong Van Mung, Chau Hoi commune, said that not only in Le village but also in many other villages in the mountains, the slaughter of buffaloes and cows still happens frequently. Garden owners cut off legs, ears, intestines, etc. Although it has been condemned, due to people's awareness, the slaughter of buffaloes and cows still happens continuously, causing heavy losses to many families./.
