Vietnam wins two more gold medals at Southeast Asian shooting tournament
Shooter Ha Minh Thanh and his teammates won two gold medals on the second day of competition, the tournament taking place in Hanoi.
Yesterday (November 4), the Southeast Asian shooting tournament continued to compete in two events: 10m air pistol for women's youth and 25m rapid fire pistol for men.
As one of Vietnam's top shooters, Ha Minh Thanh is expected to replace Hoang Xuan Vinh as the leader of Vietnam's shooting team at this year's tournament. And Minh Thanh did not disappoint the coaching staff's expectations, showing mental stability to be accurate in the shooting series.

In the men's 25m rapid fire pistol qualifying round, Minh Thanh led with 583 points, far surpassing Chen Haohui (Hong Kong) - who came in second with 565 points. In the final round, he scored 100 points - a score that showed the strong mentality of this shooter. In the final round, Minh Thanh continued to prove his class by making his opponents put their guns down early to win the gold medal with 28 points. Chen Haohui won the silver medal, the bronze medal went to Karndee Sriyanon of Thailand.
In addition, Minh Thanh - Phan Xuan Chuyen - Phan Cong Minh won another gold medal in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol team event with a total of 1,664 points. The Thai team won a silver medal with 1,614 points, and Hong Kong won a bronze medal with 1,597 points.
With two more gold medals on the second day of competition, Vietnam continues to lead with 5 gold medals and 2 bronze medals.
