Vietnam won two Gold Medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics
All four Vietnamese contestants at the 2016 International Olympiad in Informatics won medals, including two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal.

This is the information just announced by the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training this morning, August 19.
Accordingly, the Gold Medals went to Phan Duc Nhat Minh, a 12th grader, and Pham Cao Nguyen, a 11th grader, both from the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Tran Tan Phat, a 12th grade student at the Gifted High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University, won the Silver Medal.
Le Quang Tuan, 11th grade student, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted, won the Bronze Medal.
According to unofficial rankings, Vietnam ranked 7th out of 81 participating countries and territories. This is also the highest result of the Vietnamese national team in the International Olympiad in Informatics since 2000.
The Ministry of Education and Training will welcome and congratulate the achievements of the delegation participating in the 2016 International Olympiad in Informatics at Noi Bai International Airport on the morning of August 23.
