Premier League Round 4: Anticipated Debuts
A number of players were signed by Premier League clubs in the final days of the summer transfer window and fans are looking forward to their debuts in this round 4.

1. Shkodran Mustafi (Arsenal)
In recent years, the need for a top class centre-back to play alongside Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny has been great. Per Mertesacker is a great leader but lacks the pace to keep up with fast forwards. Meanwhile, Gabriel Paulista has never shown the ability to become an elite centre-back.
Rob Holding, Arsenal's summer signing, is too young. Therefore, Mustafi's signature in the final days of the summer transfer market is necessary for Arsenal. Having the 2014 World Cup champion in the squad, at least Gunners fans will feel more secure about their team's defense.
Mustafi is actively training and will likely be given his debut by coach Arsene Wenger for Arsenal in the match against Southampton in round 4 of the Premier League.
2. Jack Wilshere (Bournemouth)
In the final hours of the summer transfer window, Wilshere caused a big surprise when he chose Bournemouth as his next destination, despite being pursued by Roma and AC Milan. Wilshere left Arsenal to get more playing time because he could not compete for a place in the Gunners' crowded midfield.
Wilshere once left Arsenal and shone during a 6-month loan spell at Bolton in 2010. Wilshere fans hope that will happen again to help him save his declining career.
3. Jeff Hendrick (Burnley)
Burnley spent the summer tracking midfielder Hendrick, a standout performer for the Republic of Ireland at EURO 2016. They broke the club transfer record (£10.5m) to bring Hendrick in. The addition of quality in the name of Hendrick will help Burnley more confident in the relegation battle.

4. David Luiz (Chelsea)
Antonio Conte spent much of the summer trying to sign a new centre-back for Chelsea. In the end, former Chelsea player David Luiz was chosen. In the match against Swansea in the fourth round of the Premier League, the Blues fans are also waiting for the debut of another new signing, Marcos Alonso.
5. Islam Slimani (Leicester)
Leicester broke their transfer record by spending almost £30 million to bring Slimani from Sporting Lisbon. He scored 31 goals for the Portuguese side last season and is no stranger to Mahrez as he is a teammate of the Algeria national team. Slimani is an excellent striker and his presence threatens Shinji Okazaki's position.
Okazaki is not a great goalscorer but he is used by coach Claudio Ranieri alongside Jamie Vardy because of his hard work and diligence in playing. Slimani, on the other hand, is a true “number 9”. It raises the question of whether Slimani can combine perfectly with Vardy in Leicester’s attack like Okazaki did?
6. Ilkay Gundogan (Man City)
Pep Guardiola signed Guendogan from Dortmund this summer despite him having a knee injury. That shows that Guardiola highly rates Guendogan's ability. The midfielder has returned to training for 2 weeks and is ready to play in the Manchester derby with MU.

7. Calum Chambers (Middlesbrough)
The 21-year-old defender's career has stalled since leaving Southampton for Arsenal in 2014. He has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, and that has been further hampered by Mustafi's arrival at the Emirates, so he has been loaned out to Middlesbrough to get more playing time.
8. Wilfried Bony (Stoke City)
Mark Hughes was looking for a striker who could link up with the creative midfield trio of Marko Arnautovic, Bojan Krkic and Xherdan Shaqiri behind him. His answer was Bony. The striker had a disappointing time at Man City, unable to compete with Sergio Aguero for a place.
However, playing for a mid-table club like Stoke, Bony can regain his confidence and goalscoring ability, which he showed at Swansea with 35 goals in 70 games.

9. Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham)
On the final day of the summer transfer window, Tottenham and Everton fought fiercely for Sissoko's signature. In the end, Tottenham won the battle, spending £30 million. Sissoko had a failed 2015/16 season with Newcastle.
However, he provided strength and abundant physical strength for the French team at EURO 2016. If coach Mauricio Pochettino knows how to promote Sissoko's strengths, Tottenham will become even more fearsome.
10. Jason Denayer (Sunderland)
The Belgian defender has confirmed he is ready for his Premier League debut for Sunderland. The Manchester City player has been loaned by David Moyes in the hope that he will strengthen Sunderland's defense. In the fourth round of the Premier League, Sunderland will host Everton at home and Moyes is likely to start him at right-back.
