The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong has taken corrective measures and those who do not meet the standards are ready to withdraw from being deputy heads of departments.

Regarding the appointment of leadership positions at the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province, answering the press at the regular Government press conference on the afternoon of November 29, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong said that this issue had been answered by Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan before National Assembly delegates at the last session.

However, the leader of the Ministry of Home Affairs affirmed that according to general regulations, this Department can only have 27 leaders from deputy head of department and above. Therefore, the number of 44 leaders is beyond the regulations.

“The Ministry of Home Affairs is asking the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province to report specifically and take corrective measures. As far as we know, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong has taken corrective measures and those who do not meet the standards are ready to withdraw from being deputy heads of departments,” said the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

Regarding incidents such as the Hanoi Department of Transport officers beating women at Noi Bai airport, the forest ranger beating toll station staff... mentioned by the press, Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung said that these are condemnable acts. For state officials, civil servants, and public employees, such uncultured and unexemplary behavior is unacceptable.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Home Affairs, in addition to developing a Decree on resignation culture, to also build a culture of conduct among cadres, civil servants, and public employees, discipline, and order in performing duties, to avoid the situation of "shooting in the air".

“The Prime Minister always reminds us not to shoot in the air and to keep our promises to the National Assembly, especially the members of the Government and the Ministers who have answered the National Assembly’s questions. The Prime Minister repeatedly reminds us that we must keep our promises once we make promises to our people and voters,” said Minister Mai Tien Dung.

Regarding the implementation of Resolution 4 of the 19th Central Committee, Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung said that after the issuance of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, the Politburo issued a Plan on the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, assigning a number of tasks to the Government Party Committee and the Government has just discussed the Project on the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, with three very important groups of solutions: ideological work, policy and institutional building, and discipline.

"All Government leaders, leaders of ministries, branches, localities and especially heads must follow the example" - Mr. Mai Tien Dung emphasized.
