Fruit gardens in Nam Dan "retain tourists"

Nam Anh commune is a locality with advantages for developing eco-tourism in Nam Dan district, because it has agricultural land at the foot of Dai Hue hill. Moreover, the people here have a lot of experience in agricultural production.
In recent years, in Nam Anh commune, many fruit gardens with high economic value have appeared. Besides dozens of hectares of persimmons, there are also many gardens of Thai jackfruit, Taiwanese guava, dragon fruit... and some greenhouses growing clean vegetables. Along with that, there are many ponds combining fish farming and watering for fruit gardens.

The Thai jackfruit garden of Mr. Nguyen Van Chien's family in Hamlet 9, Nam Anh Commune, has an area of nearly 2 hectares, with nearly 400 trees, which is typical. Mr. Chien said: This jackfruit growing area used to be a sandbank, no one cared to look at it. Since 2012, he has been contracted by the commune, investing in planting the entire area with Thai jackfruit trees; after 3 years of care, the trees have been harvested. The Thai jackfruit variety has large, fragrant, delicious fruits, so it is easy to consume.
"Every year, when jackfruit is harvested, it is also the time when many tourists come to Nam Dan district, so this jackfruit garden is visited by tourists to visit and take pictures" - Mr. Chien said.

According to Mr. Tran Van Nam - Head of the Agriculture Department of Nam Anh commune: For a long time, the locality has been famous for Dai Tue persimmon products, now there are many more products such as jackfruit, guava, dragon fruit... invested in by local people.
These fruit orchards are a highlight for the locality to develop eco-tourism, serving tourists after visiting destinations in the district.
Mr. Ho Sy Hai - Vice Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee said: Along with cultural and spiritual tourism, the locality is aiming to develop eco-tourism with fruit gardens at the foot of Dai Hue Mountain. Therefore, the district chose Nam Anh commune to build a model new rural commune of the district.
The eco-tourism highlight here is Dai Tue rose garden, followed by other fruit gardens such as jackfruit, guava, and dragon fruit.

To create a highlight for tourists when coming to the rose garden, Nam Dan district will invest in making walking paths and building a toilet system in the rose garden.
At the same time, the district mobilized people to take care of the natural sim hills on Dai Hue mountain range, creating a tourist attraction. From the fruit gardens, people raise free-range chickens, serving clean food on the spot to tourists./.
