Dien Lien Commune (Dien Chau) received the Certificate of New Rural Standards

On the morning of November 14, Dien Lien commune (Dien Chau) held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards in 2019.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Board, leaders of Dien Chau district and many children from Dien Lien commune.

Over the years, the Party Committee and people of Dien Lien commune have always been united, dynamic, creative, and effectively implemented the movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas".

After 9 years of implementation, the appearance of the countryside has changed significantly. With the motto of the State and the people working together, the commune has mobilized the active participation of the people, businesses and children of the homeland who are working and doing business all over the country. The total resources mobilized for new rural construction in the past time is over 293 billion VND; of which the people's capital contributed 216 billion VND (accounting for 77% of the total capital for new rural construction of the commune).

Up to now, the infrastructure has been invested in upgrading and becoming spacious and modern; 100% of the roads in the commune have been concreted. All schools have been solidified, meeting the teaching and learning needs of the school. People have actively shifted the economic structure towards commodity production, promoting the development of small-scale industry, trade and services. Thereby, raising the average income per capita in 2020 to over 36 million VND/year; The poverty rate according to the new criteria has decreased to 0.64%.

Cultural, social, educational and health care work has achieved many encouraging results; national defense and security have been given attention; political security, social order and safety have been ensured; the movement of the entire people to protect national security has been supported by the people; social evils have been pushed back. People are excited and satisfied with the results of new rural construction in the locality.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Board congratulated and commended the achievements and results in the new rural area construction movement of the commune.

In order to strive to build advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas, in the coming time, the government and people of Dien Lien commune need to further promote the role of the Steering Committee and the Management Board of new rural construction of the commune; need to make efforts with the highest political determination; Mobilize and integrate resources in new rural construction to create strong and synchronous resources to build and improve criteria, in which people's resources play a decisive role; Focus on developing production, promoting cooperation, joint ventures, and linkages according to product value chains and building and developing many effective economic models; build many new rural standard gardens to increase added value, contributing to improving people's lives and incomes.
