Khanh Son Commune (Nam Dan) receives certificate of recognition as a commune meeting New Rural standards

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the New Rural Area Coordination Office, provincial departments, branches and sectors attended the ceremony.

During the 5 years of implementing the movement of the whole people to build new rural areas, Khanh Son commune has oriented to shift the economic structure to focus on developing key and strong areas. Thanks to that, the lives of local people have been constantly improved (in 2017, the average income per capita of the commune reached 31.2 million VND).

Along with that, the whole commune has mobilized more than 283 billion VND, of which the people contributed more than 158 billion VND, to invest in building new rural infrastructure. With the active participation of the entire political system, the consensus and joint efforts of the people, by the end of 2017, Khanh Son commune had achieved 19/19 new rural criteria.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee and people of Khanh Son commune in the movement to build new rural areas and at the same time oriented the commune to continue to improve the achieved criteria. In particular, the locality needs to focus on developing production, promoting joint venture cooperation according to product value chains, in order to improve people's lives and incomes; doing a good job of environmental sanitation, collecting and treating waste and wastewater according to regulations; actively planting trees associated with care, protection, creating a green - clean - beautiful new rural environment.

On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; 2 collectives and 2 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Nam Dan District People's Committee; 7 collectives and 8 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Commune People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement./.
