Nghia Mai Commune (Nghia Dan) celebrates 70 years of establishment and receives Certificate of recognition as a commune meeting new rural standards

In July 1953, according to the policy of dividing large communes into small communes, Tan Lap commune, belonging to Lam La commune, was divided into 4 small communes and Nghia Mai commune was officially named on the map of Nghia Dan district from then on.

Through the process of construction and development, despite many difficulties, over the past 70 years, the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghia Mai commune have always united to continue the tradition of their predecessors, focusing their intelligence, creatively applying the policies of the Party and State, and the support of superiors, effectively implementing political tasks, developing the economy and society, step by step bringing Nghia Mai commune to achieve very important achievements.

In particular, entering the new rural construction, with a low starting point, but with the determination of the Party Committee, Government and People, after only 2 years of implementation, Nghia Mai commune has mobilized 204 billion VND, of which, local sources and people contributed nearly 13 billion VND; donated thousands of m²land and contributed hundreds of thousands of working days. Up to now, all roads in the village and hamlet have been concreted. People know how to apply science and technology to production, livestock farming in the direction of goods, develop household economy, build many effective economic models, help each other develop the economy, and sustainably eliminate poverty. By December 31, 2022, Nghia Mai had completed 19/19 criteria and reached the finish line 2 years ahead of the Congress Resolution.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the commune's founding, the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghia Mai commune were honored to receive the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards. This is a great joy for the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghia Mai, and also a driving force for the Party Committee and People of the commune to continue to complete the socio-economic development goals in 2023 and the following years.

At the ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded the Certificate of Recognition to Nghia Mai commune for meeting the new rural standards in 2022 and 500 million VND in bonuses from the province; awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement. Nghia Dan District People's Committee also presented Nghia Yen commune with a welfare project worth 300 million VND and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement "Joining hands to build new rural areas in Nghia Mai commune"./.
