Thanh Van Commune receives certificate of recognition for meeting New Rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 27, Thanh Van commune, Thanh Chuong district held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition for meeting national standards for New Rural Areas.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, a number of provincial departments and branches and representatives of Thanh Chuong district leaders.

Selected as one of the key units in building the new rural area of ​​Thanh Chuong, over the years Thanh Van commune has proactively and actively invested resources and implemented the new rural criteria.

After 5 years, Thanh Van has mobilized nearly 68 billion VND to harden commune and village roads. Invested in upgrading all pumping stations and canals, meeting the irrigation needs of 647 hectares of rice and vegetables in the area.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting NTM standards to the leaders of Thanh Van commune.

The school infrastructure system has been invested in, the quality of teaching and learning has been improved, 2/3 of schools have been recognized as meeting national standards. 100% of villages and hamlets have cultural houses and sports areas that meet standards. The commune has been recognized as meeting national standards in health care.

Thanh Van farmers apply scientific and technological advances in production, develop commercial agriculture, and gradually improve their economic life.

Besides, Thanh Van is also a unit that performs well in Security - National Defense tasks. The Party Committee of the commune has been clean and strong for many years, the mass organizations operate effectively, contributing to the work of mobilizing the masses to join hands in building the new rural area. Up to now, Thanh Van has completed 19/19 criteria and has been recognized as a commune meeting the new rural standards.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of building new rural areas in the locality.
