Building courage and spreading the image of specialized cadres of the Provincial People's Council

On the afternoon of May 12, the Provincial People's Council Office Party Committee held a congress for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the congress were comrades Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Viet Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee. The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council Office currently has 30 party members, operating in 3 party cells. In the 2015-2020 term, the Office Party Committee focuses on leading the implementation of the targets and tasks set out in the resolution during the term; the focus is on innovating and improving the quality of activities of People's Councils at all levels in the province.

During the term, the Office Party Committee directed the professional staff to organize 13 sessions of the Provincial People's Council, including 3 extraordinary sessions. At the sessions, the Provincial People's Council passed 251 resolutions; including resolutions regulating the socio-economic development plan, public investment plan, 5-year and annual financial and budget plans; annual civil servant and public employee payroll plan; resolutions on mechanisms, policies and many thematic resolutions.

Along with that is the active professional direction to urge the implementation of issued resolutions, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development of the province.

Along with that, the Party Committee has directed focused supervision activities and improved quality. During the term, the Provincial People's Council conducted 43 thematic supervisions and 32 surveys.

Questioning and explaining activities were also focused on improving the quality with 18 groups of issues being questioned by the Provincial People's Committee, heads of relevant departments and branches; 7 explanation sessions were organized on issues of concern to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

Monitoring and "re-monitoring" of the implementation of conclusions and recommendations after monitoring are carried out regularly and resolutely.

The Party Committee has directed the Office, Party Cells and Party members to raise awareness and responsibility for the work of meeting voters before and after the session, receiving citizens, handling citizens' petitions... to effectively implement and ensure quality; increasingly better meeting voters' requirements.

The work of administrative reform leadership, implementation of democratic regulations and Party building work, and the political system are taken care of. In particular, attention is paid to maintaining strict regimes and improving the quality of Party activities, especially Party cell activities, ensuring unified leadership throughout the Party; innovating leadership methods, working styles and ways; raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and Party members, especially leaders.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee, giving a speech at the congress, comrade Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee highly appreciated the leadership role of the Provincial People's Council Office Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term with many solutions to effectively implement directives and resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council; improving the quality in all areas of operation according to the functions and tasks of the Provincial People's Council.

The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc also said that many Party members in the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council Office are also delegates of the Provincial People's Council. Therefore, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee needs to continue to focus on political and ideological education; training, fostering, improving all aspects of qualifications, especially training for courage, high fighting spirit, setting an example; contributing to building and spreading the image of specialized cadres of the Provincial People's Council office.
