Building a set of propaganda documents, studying and following Uncle Ho for ethnic minorities in Nghe An

The compilation and publication of propaganda documents, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle for ethnic minorities in Nghe An province is implemented according to Project No. 01-DA/TU, dated July 28, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

The project was issued to help ethnic minorities in Nghe An easily access Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, thereby raising awareness and action, contributing to strengthening trust in the Party, Uncle Ho, the socialist regime and the entire political system. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the spirit of overcoming difficulties and building a new, increasingly progressive and civilized lifestyle.

Speaking at the workshop, comrade Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Document Compilation Board emphasized that in recent times, compiling documents to serve the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style based on the specific situation of ethnic minorities to choose appropriate forms of propaganda is extremely necessary.

Realizing that, over the past time, the team implementing the document set has collected comments from scientists, former provincial leaders, ethnic culture researchers and related departments, branches and units to develop an outline before submitting it to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for approval.

The outline of the document is divided into 3 main parts: Introduction to President Ho Chi Minh; Introduction to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style and President Ho Chi Minh with ethnic minorities. It clearly shows the message of Uncle Ho's affection and belief in ethnic minorities in revolutionary movements and the enormous contributions of ethnic minorities in the struggle for a peaceful, independent and unified Vietnam.

Uncle Ho's feelings and concern for ethnic minorities are clearly shown through his letters, speeches, and meetings with the ethnic minorities of Nghe An. At the same time, the ethnic minorities of Nghe An also have feelings of respect and trust in the path that the Party and Uncle Ho have chosen.

To improve the effectiveness of propaganda and closely follow the reality and needs of ethnic minorities in the province, the team building the document set decided to continue to innovate in the implementation methods and processes.

Accordingly, a direct survey will be conducted on ethnic minorities in the province to understand the cultural characteristics, customs, and ability to access content of the document users. This is also the basis for clearly determining the propaganda method, determining the level and content of the content conveyed.

In addition, sample propaganda articles will be developed and tested and the effectiveness of these sample propaganda articles will be evaluated before implementing the development of a standard set of documents. This standard set of documents will continue to be evaluated, supplemented and completed before printing.

At the workshop, delegates from 10 mountainous districts and scientists and cultural researchers of the province contributed many ideas for the construction and completion of the document set. Most of the opinions said that the propaganda target groups should not be divided in the construction of the document set; it is necessary to use a simple, familiar, easy-to-understand writing style so that people can easily access and remember; propaganda through photo channels should be increased to increase the vividness of the document; practical surveys should be conducted in localities with ethnic minorities to properly understand the needs and aspirations of the people...

In response to the delegates' enthusiastic opinions, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Vo Van Dung acknowledged, highly appreciated and affirmed that he would synthesize, evaluate and absorb the valuable comments to deploy and complete the document set in the most scientific and complete manner./.
