Construction of a 35m wide road connecting National Highway 46 with Lam River road
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Party Committee agreed to build a road connecting National Highway 46 with the Lam River road, a 35m wide section through a residential area. At the same time, enforce protection for some households, organizations and businesses before June 30, 2017.

On the afternoon of June 21, Vinh City Party Committee evaluated the implementation results and discussed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation for land acquisition and resettlement of works under the Vinh urban development project. Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee chaired the meeting. |
Currently, the Vinh Urban Development project still has 6 construction packages that are behind schedule due to land acquisition problems.
In the Hung Tay - Vinh road construction package, there are still 24 households and 4 organizations and enterprises, namely Vinh Locomotive Enterprise, Nghe An Industrial and Commercial Bank Savings Fund, Kim Lien Trading Company Limited, Automobile Transport Joint Stock Company No. 5 and the Quan Bau market land including 80 business households that have not agreed on land acquisition.
The bidding package for the road connecting National Highway 46 to the Lam River road currently still has land for 26 households, 2 family churches and land of the 17th Engineering Company; the bidding package for the construction of a regulating lake currently has 3.7 hectares of cultivated land; the bidding package for upgrading and renovating the moat around Vinh Citadel still has 8 households; and the Quan Bau resettlement area still has 1 household.
In these packages, households, organizations and enterprises have not agreed on compensation plans to support land acquisition and resettlement, and do not agree on land prices at the departure and destination locations; some households request adjustments and rearrangement of resettlement land after handing over the site for housing construction. Determining the origin of land use for some households is still difficult.

Concluding the meeting, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested departments, units, wards and communes to focus more on site clearance work. Assigning the Vinh Construction Investment Management Board and the People's Committee of Quan Bau Ward to promptly build a temporary market to relocate businesses at Quan Bau Market.
Vinh City Party Committee agreed to the planning of the road connecting National Highway 46 with the Lam River road through the residential area with the plan to build a 35m wide road. For some households, organizations and businesses that need to be cleared urgently, the city will enforce and protect the construction before June 30, 2017.
