1. Interest rate for social housing loans 4.8%/year

The Prime Minister has just signed Decision 370/QD-TTg on preferential interest rates for social housing loans at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies according to the provisions of Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP of the Government.

Specifically, the preferential loan interest rate at the Social Policy Bank for those who buy, rent-purchase social housing; build new houses or renovate and repair houses for living according to Decree 100/2015/ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government on development and management of social housing in 2018 is 4.8%/year (0.4%/month). The overdue debt interest rate is calculated at 130% of the lending interest rate.

According to Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP, subjects eligible for preferential loans to buy, rent, or hire-purchase social housing; build new or renovate or repair houses for residence are subjects specified in Clauses 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Article 49 of the Housing Law.

The above subjects are allowed to borrow for a minimum of 15 years from the date of first loan disbursement. In case the customer needs to borrow for a term lower than the minimum loan term, they can negotiate with the bank on a lower loan term.

2. Clarifying the reflection that the vehicle carrying the 'giant' tree has signs of violating the law

5. Conditions for granting Certificate of vocational education quality assessment

Specifically, the conditions for granting a Certificate of eligibility to conduct vocational education quality assessment activities for domestic organizations that are public service units and enterprises include:

1- Established and operating under the provisions of Vietnamese law.

2- Have a stable headquarters for at least 2 years; have enough working rooms for inspectors with a minimum area of ​​8m22/person; have enough equipment to serve vocational education quality assessment activities.

3- The person directly in charge of vocational education quality assessment activities meets the requirements according to regulations.

4- Have at least 10 inspectors working full-time under labor contracts or working contracts of at least 12 months or more for the inspection organization.

5- Have an electronic information page of the accreditation organization that includes content and database serving the activities of assessing the quality of vocational education.

The Decree also specifically stipulates the conditions for granting a Certificate of eligibility to operate vocational education quality assessment for foreign organizations: 1- Meeting the 5 conditions mentioned above; 2- Having operated in the field of education, occupation, educational quality assessment, vocational education quality assessment for at least 5 consecutive years up to the time of requesting a Certificate of eligibility to operate assessment....

6. Overcoming the situation of seafood shipments being returned by foreign countries

To thoroughly handle the issue of seafood shipments being warned about food safety indicators, especially chemical and antibiotic residues exceeding prescribed levels in import markets, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to focus on directing and organizing the implementation of a number of tasks and solutions.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) to coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to update information and notify businesses about changes in import policies, food hygiene and safety standards, quarantine requirements, and import conditions of countries for seafood products.

People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities shall promote the dissemination and popularization of legal regulations on ensuring food safety in seafood production and trading; guide and support aquaculture facilities, seafood collection and processing facilities to apply advanced production processes and quality management programs to ensure food safety; support seafood processing and exporting enterprises to connect and build seafood raw material areas to ensure the requirements of import markets and traceability of product origin.

Monitor and give early warnings of diseases in aquaculture to promptly advise farmers on effective disease prevention and treatment, use veterinary drugs for aquaculture in accordance with regulations and not use banned substances or raw antibiotics to prevent and treat diseases.

7. Completing the Project for population stabilization and socio-economic development in the Son La hydropower resettlement area

The Government Office has just announced the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung at a meeting on population stabilization and socio-economic development in the Son La hydropower resettlement area.
