How are traffic rescue vehicles that violate road traffic punished?
Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, residing in Vinh city, asked: What will be the penalty for a traffic rescue vehicle driver who violates road traffic regulations?

Article 29 of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government stipulates "Penalties and deduction of driving license points for drivers of road traffic rescue vehicles" as follows:
1. A fine of VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed for the violation of driving a road traffic rescue vehicle without installing a driver image recording device or installing a driver image recording device that is not effective during the vehicle's participation in traffic as prescribed or falsifying data of the driver image recording device installed on the vehicle.
2. A fine of VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 shall be imposed for the violation of driving a road traffic rescue vehicle without specialized tools and equipment for rescue or rescue support as prescribed.
3. A fine of VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed for the violation of driving a road traffic rescue vehicle without installing a journey monitoring device or installing a journey monitoring device that is not effective during the vehicle's participation in traffic as prescribed or falsifying data of the journey monitoring device installed on the vehicle.
4. In addition to being subject to penalties, drivers who commit the acts specified in Clause 3 of this Article shall have their driving license deducted 02 points.
