Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 3, 10, Article 7 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP:
A fine of VND 600,000 to VND 800,000 shall be imposed on a motorbike driver who changes direction without observing or ensuring a safe distance from the vehicle behind or without reducing speed or without signaling a turn or signaling a turn but not using it continuously during the change of direction (except in the case of driving along a curve of a road section where the road does not intersect at the same level); turns left at a place with a sign prohibiting left turns for the type of vehicle being driven; turns right at a place with a sign prohibiting right turns for the type of vehicle being driven;

Fines from VND 10,000,000 to VND 14,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers who do not observe, reduce speed or stop to ensure safety as prescribed, causing traffic accidents; drive at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed, causing traffic accidents; enter the highway, stop, park, turn around, reverse, overtake, change direction, or change lanes in violation of regulations, causing traffic accidents; do not drive in the correct part of the road or lane, do not keep a safe distance between two vehicles as prescribed, causing traffic accidents, or enter a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven, drive in the opposite direction of a one-way road, or drive in the opposite direction on a road with a "No Entry" sign, causing traffic accidents.
In addition, Clause 13, Article 7 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulates that motorcyclists who do not signal when changing direction and cause traffic accidents will have their driving license deducted 10 points./.
